Welcome to Chili, NY

Overview

Covering some forty square miles, Chili is a town of contradictions. Much of Chili is suburban in nature, with densely populated areas; and some is rural, with a clear, agricultural feel. Divided by Black Creek, the region sports many town parks, museums, a golf course, boat launches, and more. Roberts Wesleyan College is in North Chili, providing plenty of cultural and theatrical events. Chili Center is the most urbanized section of town while South Chili (near the NYS Thruway) is quite rural with farmland still in abundance.

Who Lives Here

Chili residents include many families who enjoy the resources of good schools and active recreational programs, as well as young professionals drawn to the apartment complexes in the area and to off-campus housing for Roberts Wesleyan College. A number of seniors also live here, enjoying the opportunity to lead productive and active lives in the area.

Chili Avenue offers most any manner of eatery, from fast food to family restaurants; and local shopping plazas provide for most of the needs of area residents - superstores, hair salons and more including a Wegmans on Chili Avenue.

Recreation & Entertainment

Residents of Chili have a variety of entertainment offerings within their town boundaries - from local pubs to coffee houses; and an active recreational program sponsored by the town provides activities for events throughout the year.
